    1. “It's a crazy December at St. Rose. First Kathy Romelli and her son are murdered in their home. Then Clare is frightened by an attempted carjacking. Is it related to the thefts of items from parked cars also plaguing the area? And what about the parishioner charged with creating a Ponzi scheme?Just as the Quilting Bee members think they have discovered the murderer, their favorite suspect is found dead of an apparent suicide. And amid all the mayhem, the parish's resident Mr. and Mrs. Santa are [...]

    2. The St. Rose Quilters meet nearly everyday to quilt and make things for charity and the church. However, it came across more like a gossip party than a quilting bee. When a young mother and her son are murdered, they have plenty to talk about and they talk and talk and talk. I didn't like this book for several reasons. The first was that the gossiping comes across as heartless and unsavory. They're more interested in the crime and who might inherit than they are about the emotional impact of suc [...]

    3. The retired women who meet each day to quilt at St. Rose's Church are also interested in crime. But the murder of a young mother and her son come too close to home, and among the suspects are the woman's ex-husband, a man they like and respect. They are also concerned with the package robbery from cars that is a negative feature of the holiday season. So they question people and pool gossip until the police solve the robbery case and they discover the truth about the double murder. As you might [...]

    4. I won this book on . It is 5th in the series the quilting group at St Rose Parish. A woman and her son are killed in their home, thefts of items from cars all over the parish, a parishioner is charged with a Ponzi scheme all cause fear in the quilters. When they think they have it figured out, the suspect is found dead. Through the whole book the parish is getting ready for the secret santa party and gifts. A really enjoyable book and I look forward to more in the series.
