    1. Ever since I came upon my first Beau Taplin instagram post, I knew I was hopelessly hooked. An entire book of these, with gorgeous pictures and a minimalist theme abound; it all makes it kind of impossible to keep my hands off Buried Light. Which is surprising because in most or all cases, I tend to stop myself from spending money on books of its kind.Firstly, short poetry collections as such have never particularly struck my fancy (Mr. Taplin and berlin-artparasites were the first ones to sway m [...]

    2. Well, I don't think it's possible for Beau Taplin to write something that I dislike. This book to me was a magical adventure around so many pieces inside my head. I felt new and old things. I remembered good and bad things. I didn't want to finish it. I still want more.Another phenomenal book by Beau~

    3. "she was the tide, always drifting in and out of the lives of those who loved her, eternally indecisive, unable to discern whether she desired the solidarity and safety of land, or the wild freedom of the ocean."

    4. I've always enjoyed reading Beau's work online via his social channels, but reading this book from cover to cover was a completely different experience. From the forward to the departing note, I found myself floating on his words, completely lifted on the beauty and clarity they bring. I love the message in this book, that there is a light that comes from all the dark times in our lives, and it was especially impressive to me how many topics were covered in these pages. From life and loss to lov [...]

    5. A few moths ago I stumbled upon a Beau Taplin's quote. And as much as I may be obsessed with quotes, none had ever moved me to the point of actually buying a book, especially not one that had to be shipped from Australia (€€€).Buried Light was everything I expected it to be and more and when I started it I couldn't put it down. This guy has a gift I could never compliment enough. He writes some of the most beautiful things I have ever read and he does so without a hint of pretentiousness.I [...]

    6. Beautiful open prose about life and love. It's so strange that someone as young as Beau Taplin can write with so much wisdom.

    7. It's raw. It's heart. It's from the edge of your life. You're buried in the moments. you can feel the words seep into your soul. Beau has done it again. He's great. Can't wait for new stuff.

    8. This man has the gift to phrase the notes of the song of my soul, for which I am very grateful. I'll be rereading his work often, finding solace and understanding, and the thing I hold dear above all else: hope.

    9. Beau's writing is lovely to read. Based on the title and premise, I didn't think the content of this book would be quite so focused on his reflection of romantic relationships. Nevertheless, he writes well.

    10. 3.5stars Rise and shine.I have always had such a fondness for that sweet old phrase. As though we are little suns.As though we are all someone's day.
