    1. I at first wasn't sure I would like this story, but after i started reading it I couldn't stop till i was finished. While it was predictable in the essence of a happily ever after it had twists and turned and I so want to read more of this series ! I really like Dante as a character and as a hero. The mistrust and mistakes made in the story really built the characters and i felt like i was there . was a great read!

    2. Parts were good (such as the vandalism and burglary); parts were not (such as the pregnancy scare). This lead to a very uneven read.

    3. Although I read this book easily enough, I have to admit I didn’t enjoy it anywhere near as much as I’d hoped. Most of that is down to the pacing – it’s all over the place. After the funeral and the reading of the will, complete with a nasty face off with Allen, the useless stepbrother, we jump forward to Sophia at the office thinking about how hard it is to work with Dante, moments before she overhears about her brother wanting to sell his share. Next thing we know Dante’s trying to g [...]

    4. Sophie is trying to deal with her grief over her stepfather's death while helping save his financial company too. She and her stepbrother Allen should have inherited the company between them, but the mysterious and dynamic Dante Leone got one third of the leadership as well.Trying to forget the youthful heartbreak Dante caused her, Sophie ends up at cross purposes with Allen and Dante every day.It doesn't help that Allen moved back into her stepfather's home with her and is trying to put a price [...]

    5. The Business of Love was a fun weekend read with characters who are relatable. I found myself rooting for a happily ever after for Sophia and Dante from the first chapter. The novel opens with Sophia at her darkest point, the death of her stepfather. With the reading of the will her life takes an unexpected turn when Dante Leone is given ownership in the family business. Sophia fell hard for Dante in her youth and he broke her heart. The hero, Dante, is strong willed and fighting for his career. [...]

    6. I received this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review…I loved the premise of this book because really, who doesn’t love two duelling protagonists who are fighting their attraction for each other. But in honesty it fell a little short for me. The story did not have a decent flow and structure. I felt that the scenes often jumped abruptly from one to another with no explanations in between. The first kissed they share is a typical example of that – it came out of nowhere, no b [...]

    7. I received this book for free for an honest review and I couldn't put it down once I started it. I thought at first it was going to be your typical office romance type book but it is much more then that. There are twists and people you think you can trust you realize you can't. I really enjoyed Sophia's strength and ability to work under the pressures she was facing with her fathers death and issues with her step brother and her company. I also really liked the progression and building trust bet [...]

    8. I received an ARC of this book for an honest review so here it is. I like this author, but I didn't like this book and I thought it was a bit too predictable. I knew Allan and Trey were the ones behind all the bad things happening to Sophia and I figured Malcolm was the one behind moving the meeting between Sophia and Lucas. I would have like a little more detail at the end when the one company was being investigated and I just felt empty when things finally got settled between Sophia and Dante. [...]

    9. Mote: I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.'The Business of Love' had so much promise, I was intrigued by the story's premise and was looking forward to Sophia and Dante butting heads, then the heat that would undoubtedly follow. There was heat and some good chemistry, but this book somehow didn't measure up to my hopes for it. I understand that Dante had been burned in the past by a former lover, but to believe that Sophie was no better that that woman seemed silly to [...]

    10. The story starts after the death of Sophia's dad. Because of her dad's will, she has to share the running of his company with a half brother that really doesn't like her and an ex that she left on really bad terms years before. There are some twists and turns, who can they really trust. There are lots of characters that are more than they seem at first glance. Because of a bad break-up Sophia and Dante don't trust each other, but to solve some mysteries and save her company they have to come to [...]

    11. Sophia and Dante are thrown together again after the death of Sophia's father makes them partners in the family business. You really had to feel for Sophia. Her step-brother treats her horribly; she was named executor of the will; and the financial planning aspect of the family business, her specialty, is falling apart. I was rooting for Sophia, but I really didn't see what she saw in Dante. He seemed somewhat out of the stone age with his "must marry me cause I might have gotten you pregnant." [...]

    12. A fairly good premise for a story, except the male chauvinistic, self-righteous blaming act that Dante lugged around turned me off majorly when it became clear that he was as much of a moron in the mutual breakup all those years ago. And the pregnancy scare the morning after? What happened to modern medicine like the emergency contraceptive - that miraculously doesn't seem to exist in stories like this? Justabsurd.

    13. A hot, dark, brooding hero paired with a younger, more innocent heroine, Ms. James weaves intrigue and surprise into this classically arranged chick-lit tale.Read full review in the 2015 October issue of InD'tale Magazine.

    14. What a fun read! Just when I thought I knew where the story was going, the author threw in plot twists. Great characters I cared about. A sexy romance with suspense.
