    1. So I got about 10% into the book when I decided that this will have to be a DNF for me. The blurb sounded so interesting that I was motivated to try this one, but the style isn't clicking with me. It is a lot of telling and not a lot of showing, and I don't like the way that the book feels like an instruction manual about Thai boxing and Thai culture. It might get better as it goes along, but I'm not interested enough to keep going.
