    1. Read it!!! One of my top five favorite books!!! It is cross between Mr & Mrs Smith and Little Red Riding Hood.

    2. I stalked like crazy the day this book was released. This is the third book in the London Fairy Tales series and is reminiscent of Little Red Riding Hood. What I loved most about this book is that it explained what happened to Gwen during it's predecessors and how she and Hunter met. At the start of each chapter there is a note written from Red to Hunter or vice versa. They are SO. AMUSING. I think Gwen may be my favorite sister. She's bold, vivacious, and definitely not afraid to do whatever s [...]

    3. I am a huge fan of the London Fairytale series by Rachel Van Dyken. I have been so excited for Hunter's story to come out. I am thrilled that Ms. Van Dyken has major skills and gets her books out quickly. So, I didn't have to wait long. The Wolf's Pursuit is a retelling of little red riding hood! This story is filled with mystery, romance and such funny banter! I was thrilled that Gwen and Hunter don't care for each other. It makes the tension between the two as thick as a milk shake! I thought [...]

    4. 3.5***Red—For you… I'd wait forever.—Wolf [image error]"How do Iknow that the Wolf is not leading me down a path ofdestruction?""Oh, you can be sure he is, but it will be such alovely destruction, I doubt you will care.""Oh?" Gwen bit her lip."Yes. I aim to make you forget reality for a while,Red.""And how do you plan to do that?" She placed herhand in his as he began leading her through the small forestin his entryway and farther into the house."By becoming your dreams." [image error]

    5. I have been anxiously waiting for this latest installment of the London Fairy Tales and I have to say Rachel did not disappoint! This book made me lose my breath for 2 reasonsThe first was because I was laughing so hard and the 2nd because I was so tangled up with the characters that when something happened I literally would gasp! Rachel definitly brings her characters to life! This book told the story of Hunter (the wolf) and Gwen (red) 2 spies for England during war with France. Hunter believe [...]

    6. If you're looking for a tortured hero story, look no further. Hunter is definitely a tortured soul, spending his life behind a mask of foolishness just to hide his pain from the world. And trust me when I tell you, his pain seems fathomless at times.Even though I liked Hunter a LOT I spent a good amount of time in this story confused at the complete 180 that occurs with his and Gwen's relationship. To be honest I got the lust part, but never understood the sudden love they felt. The ending was a [...]

    7. RVD can often be a difficult author for me to read. Throughout the book it's hit and miss. Sometimes the passionate make out scenes are a real turn off and other times it hits the spot. The plot has it's usual "Say what?" moments but it was a fun way to pass a Sunday afternoon. No regrets. Gwen and Hunter have a very fiery relationship. He cursed but continued to kiss her. "I hate you," she murmured."I hate you too," he agreed,Hunter is such a bastard. Absolutely incorrigible. He's not as funny [...]

    8. This is an interesting read with enough action, mystery and foreplay to keep one hooked till the end. Like the other books in the series, it is the reworking of a popular fairy tale and this time it is "The Red Riding Hood"Hunter 'the Wolf' and Lady Gwendolen 'Red' are perfect for each other and are more alike than they realize. Their witty banter and innuendos are hilarious. Even without any explicit description of the actual act, there is a lot of sexual tension and chemistry between them. It [...]

    9. I loved this book. Some steamy parts, but when it starts to get steamy, it ends. From the book: Lady Gwendolyn has only one thing on her mind--Finding the Wolf and strangling him where he stands. Unfortunately, she needs him to complete one final mission for the Crown and to keep her family safe. It has absolutely nothing to do with her attraction to him, or his golden eyes, or his wicked smile, or the fact that he’s convinced to keep his heart encased in ice—that is, if he still possesses o [...]

    10. Typical of a Rachel van Dyken book, I really enjoyed this book and found myself lost in it. Her writing style lets you feel like you are actually in the book watching the action as it unfolds. Hunter is a character who you can't help but feel sorry for and Gwen is one that you just want to be happy. The fact that I skipped reading Book 2 in London's Fairy Tales didn't hurt at all. Although I do have to go back to read it because I just have to read about Dominique and Isabella. Now, I have to wa [...]

    11. This is my favorite book, ever!! I loved HUNTER!! I have never fell in love with a fictional character. This book is amazing. I cannot even think of words to do it justice. I promise this book will not let you down. You will laugh, cry, and even get a little mad at times, but I know you will love this book. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!!

    12. I love, love, loved this book! It just seems like Rachel Van Dyken's London Fairy Tales Series keeps getting better, stronger, and harder to put down with each book that she writes! It took me falling asleep for the night, to put down the book--it is that good!

    13. Rachel does it again! Such much fun for an easy read! I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone! 5 stars.

    14. This was just a fun short romp. Some of it doesn't make sense like how could she as a good spy still escape with her virginity intact? but really who cares? Like I said short fun and silly

    15. I loved this book! I tell ya this series just gets better and better. I love that these stories could have happened. It's not like the typical fairy tales. I think this one may be my favourite one so far. They are both so bad ass and I love it! Can't wait to start the next book!

    16. The Wolf, aka Hunter Wolfsbane, is a character that we became familiar with as the friend of Dominique Makyslov, the hero of the second London Fairy Tale Whispered Music. As Dominique’s friend, Hunter was shown to be supportive but rather prickly and independent, tortured by a dark and brutal past. He’s a spy, working on behalf of the Crown to bring a stop of Napoleon’s armies and at the start of the novel he’s given his latest mission with a catch, he’s got a new partner despite worki [...]

    17. 5 Wolves StarsI'm obsessed with this series!! I have read all the 3 books in one seat!! they are really goood!! This is the story about two persons who have strong personalities, who they dont want to fall in love! they just want to live their life But the destiny and the crown have prepared some things for them, so they need to work together and meanwhile they work together!! they fall in love hahaha but with the help of their friends a family!!I really enjoy this book! it was a really good rea [...]

    18. I read this book a long time ago and can't remember the date. I just seen that I had never rated this book. This book is just like Beauty and the Beast but more exciting.Hunter Wolfsbane, is the Duke of Haverstone. He is also called "Wolf" and you will see why when you read this book. He does help his friends but he is always getting in trouble with the ladies. That's how it usually goes and he never thought that a woman he had kissed was going to help him work on his undercover case. Guess you [...]

    19. celebrityreaders.wordpressAnother great story in this series. I’ve been waiting for this one cause I had a feeling it would be my favorite and I was right. I do love the Little Red Riding Hood re-tellings.I loved Red’s spunk. She wasn’t afraid to challenge cultural norms in this era and used her sex to her advantage in her missions. Her loyalty to her country is steadfast and strong. She just had such a great depth of character. The wolf was exactly what you expect. He liked her, obviously, [...]

    20. So Hunter, that boy isn't much of a gentleman, "not your real name, love. The one you go by when you're out spreading your legs for God and country." He is a playful one though, "play nice, sweetheart." Hunter winked and patted her bottom as he slipped past her." There are times the boy doesn't give a terd's butt who sees him show affection to his girl, "Hunter, possibly a little too excited to see her alive and breathing, did the first thing he could think of. He pulled her into his arms and ki [...]

    21. SUPERB!Yet again I am left wanting more! Intriguing, descriptive, emotional, exciting There are not enough adjectives to describe the writing of Rachel Van Dyken! I was drawn into this book from the very beginning wrapped tightly in a world of torment and despair, then whisked away with the romance and determination that ensued. Another wonderful story that proves there is hope for love and the broken heart. If you haven't read Van Dyken's work, I again urge you to grab the first book in this se [...]

    22. I loved this third book in the London Fairy Tale Series! It was great to find out Hunter's story, who we met in book two. I really loved his character, but more than that, I enjoyed finding out why he acted and did the things that he did. Learning about his past was a great emotional journey. Now Gwen, she was a firecracker! I couldn't seem to get enough of her wit and attitude. Together with Hunter their conversations were dynamic! The laughter, tears, danger and love in this book all made for [...]

    23. Some of the worst dialogue imaginable is used to tell the unbelievable story of two spies who never actually discover a single thing. As I hadn't read the earlier books the plot unfolded like the gambollings of a spring lamb on crack. The romance is cheesy and the sex is rediculous. The hero comes off sounding and behaving more like Leslie Phillips than a bad-ass hero. I am coming to believe that the first 25 or 30 reviews of any book on are posted by close friends or family of the author. I do [...]

    24. I loved this series so much!Rachel is one of my favorite author's and I love this Regency series! I love her spin on the popular fairy tales! Hunter is totally awesome, funny and charming! He is a good loyal friend! I love the camaraderie he has with Dominique! Dominique is able to give some of Hunter's own advice back to him. You can tell the instant chemistry that is between Gwen and Hunter. Rachel gives us a delightful, humorous, and romantic story! Gwen holds her own with Hunter and adds spi [...]

    25. My favorite of the three so far. I loved Hunter and Gwen in the last book. So was very excited to read this one. There was more action than romance in this one, but I didn't mind. Their story felt different because they developed through a high stress work situation, not just a romantic one. I thought it was funny and engaging. I liked that Gwen was a spy, that she was a bit violent (like the mafia girls) and tough. Hunter was a mess, but it was his time Overall cute, fast read.
