    1. This is my review for RomanceInColorromanceincolor/Reviews/REVImaginative and entertaining, Glass’s series opener successfully delivers with fast-paced action and sizzling sensuality a captivating paranormal romance steeped in fantastic Egyptian mythology. Centuries ago, a tragedy caused dissolution of the collaborative alliance between the jackal shifters, Sons of Anubis, and powerful Egyptian priestesses, Daughters of Isis. In present day Atlanta, Markus Grant, leader of the Sons of Anubis, [...]

    2. 4 HeartsReview written for Chocolicious Reviewschocoliciousreviews.wordprAnd so starts a series that promises fun, action and some serious romance. The Sons of Anubis is the new series by Seressia Glass with the first book Seducing the Jackal making an impressing debut. The core of the story is a new take on the ancient Egyptian myths focusing on the God Anubis, protector of the dead, and Isis, Goddess of motherhood, fertility and magic. The Sons of Anubis and Daughters of Isis in this lore have [...]

    3. Centuries ago the Daughters of Isis and the Sons of Anubis worked together to prevent the dead from returning to the land of the living. But a horrific rift leaving two of their number dead. The daughter believe they were betrayed by the Sons. The Sons believe they were he victims of treachery. Whatever the truth, now the two sects are mortal enemies. Markus is a Jackal shifter and son of Anubis who is determined to destroy the witches of Isis once and for all. They have set a terrible curse on [...]

    4. Many multi-cultural books are cliche’ and use a lot of slang and stereotypical behavior to make up for the lack of plot. Happily this was not the case with Seducing the Jackal. This book was a welcome surprise. I love mythology and history. The author used both to create a well-written action packed multi-cultural romance. Egyptian mythology hasn’t been used enough as a wonderful tapestry for paranormal and multi-cultural romance. I was glad Glass took the challenge and made that particular [...]

    5. From bookdevour/2013/0Blurb: Centuries ago, tragedy severed the alliance between the jackal shifters and powerful Egyptian priestesses. But when four of his brothers succumb to a deadly curse, clan commander Markus kidnaps one of the witches and insists she undo the evil magic.Although Tia can undo the curse, she insists her coven is not behind it—and she is shaken to her core by her intense attraction to her captor. The sparks between them quickly ignite, filling them both with passion and po [...]

    6. The Sons of Anubis (The Jackals) and the Daughters of Isis (The Witches) have always worked together in harmony, but now it seems the Witches are killing the Jackals. The Jackals plan on kidnapping a witch out of necessity since the some of the Jackals have become ill to the point of death, and some even dying. They need a witch, and the one they chose is not an ordinary witch. Tia is the seventh daughter of a seventh daughter, but she feels weak, since she shows no outstanding powers that she s [...]

    7. Seriously this book was the bomb my first read by this author. I had no idea it is a series, so I will be off to purchase the rest of the books in it.Markus is a Jackal shifter (very interesting) what I enjoyed about it was he wasn't a wolf shifter. Not that I don't love my wolves because I do. I just loved the fact of who would have thought of writing a story about a Jackal shifter and not just an ordinary Jackal but a Son of Anubis. This story originated from Egypt where the Daughter of Isis W [...]

    8. I was actually really surprised by this book. I picked it up to read because it was the genre I like to read most often. I must say, I really enjoyed this story. I enjoyed the characters, the plot and the premise of the story. I loved that included ancient African (Egyptian) deities and characters that were noble and powerful. I love the fact that the behaviors and attitudes were not over the top. I actually laughed out loud a couple of times even. This was a quick easy read and it was complete e [...]

    9. 3.25 stars. Paranormal romances are always fun and interesting and this story was no exception. Marcus Grant, a jackal and leader of the Sons of Anubis, and Tia, a witch in the coven of The Daughters of Isis, have a strange romance-if you can call it that. Marcus kidnaps her to get her to use her powers to break a curse on the jackals cast by the witches. She seduces Marcus because her powers are activated via sexual contact-so, love follows.

    10. I loved it!!!! Ms. Glass has been one of my favorite authors and this does not disappoint. I am so glad to see a different tale being told. Tia is a Daughter of Isis and Markus is Son of Anubis, protectors of ancient Egypt. A betrayal causes allies to become enemies. So much more could be said, but read this first book in the series. It was a quickie, but the ending will leave you satisfied and ready for part two.

    11. I think this book suffers from what a lot of novellas do. It was too short! I loved the use of Egyptian myths and the world Glass created was interesting. I didn't really connect with Tia or Markus. Their connection felt forced. In a longer book they could've worked as a couple. Here it just seemed they hooked up because the story said so.I liked the author's style and look forward to seeing what she does with more space to let a story unfold.

    12. A quick and exciting readLoved these honourable personalities. This is a gripping and exciting start to a new series and what a start! The sexual tension was evident from the moment our two characters were alone after Markus kidnapped Tia. Loved it!!

    13. Egyptian history dealing with the Sons of Anubis/Daughters of Isis. I loved it from beginning to end A must read! Markus and Tia were great together

    14. Loved it, very unique paranormal plot. Ending was a bit off to me because I prefer HEA instead of implied HEA other than that.Great read!!!
