    1. THE LOST DRAGONEERBY C. D. SutherlandI patiently waited for this second book in The Chronicles of Susah series because after reading the first book (THE DRAGONEERS) I had fell in love with Susah, the story's main character. Little did I know, this wasn't going to be just a continuation of her story, but also it is a deeper journey into an allegoric presentation of life in general. In the first book, Susah proved herself to be as good as anyone: smart, strong, talented, and clever. What she lacked [...]

    2. "The Lost Dragoneer" expands and deepens the antediluvian world set up by book one in the series. Sutherland adds layers of political intrigue and malevolent machinations that dash Susah's hopes for a straight shot to glory and the history books. While she may be the most talented young dragoneer in history, she discovers that her raw ability does not make her career--and her life--take perfect shape on its own.Sethica has repelled an invasion, but the war isn't over. Leadership is faltering. By [...]

    3. Rollercoaster Ride on the Back of a Dragon! When most people think of "Steam Punk", a literary blend of Sci-Fi technology reimagined, History fancifully refashioned, and classic Adventure reawakened, they think of scenes from the era of Elizabethan England; CD Sutherland however has masterfully flown this three-headed chimaera much, much further into the past. His vision of the pre-flood world, in the time of Biblical Noah, is both strikingly new -- different from what we ever imagined -- yet als [...]

    4. This book picks up right where The Dragoneers ended. I remember my angst after the first book wondering what was going to happen next; would Susah get to see the Garden of Eden, with me wondering what it would be like. New spiritual powers, like "translating" are introduced, I found myself not being able to put it down. Very exciting and enjoyable read. Lots of action, great characters that are very real-world. I find myself thinking about them often. I'm waiting for the next book in this series [...]

    5. This sequel definitely does justice to the first book. I enjoyed the first book very much, but this sequel takes the cake. This story delves much deeper into the world that C.D. Sutherland has created. It explores the life of Susah, through trials and tribulations, and forces her to fend for herself. She struggles to make a way for herself in life, and fight against the temptations of Satan. I would definitely recommend giving this book a read as you will not be disappointed. Make sure to read t [...]

    6. A fast moving ancient antediluvian adventure absolutely as awesome as anything around. I've never read anything like it, wish I could compare it to something else to explain how good it is. It's a little like some muse gnomes jumped into the book of Genesis while everyone was sleeping and finished writing chapter six. Very good read.

    7. Question: What's more awesome than a dragoneer?Answer: A dragoneer commander that not only controls dragons but also leads other dragoneers and advises national leaders in the management of violence. The Lost Dragoneer takes Susah to a new level.Susah shatters the antediluvian glass ceiling and overcomes greats odds. She retains her spunkiness as a warrior, but is taxed to the limit when she has to mature as a leader. The forces assembled against her are ten times more terrible than what she face [...]
