    1. Recently passed this book on to our grandson during a vacation on Maui and the brilliant 2 year old had mastered all the letters by the end of the trip!

    2. This is a simple alphabet book with gorgeous black and white photographs that depict the items, but also offer a glimpse into Hawaiian culture. Published in 1980, the book is obviously dated, but mainly in the dress and hairstyles of the people. But it does not detract from the book, instead offering a brief glimpse back in time (30 years!)

    3. An ABC's book with great black & white photographs. Each letter relates to Hawaiian culture with a strong emphasis on family and love. A glossary of Hawaiian-specific words/phrases is included at the end.

    4. This is a good book about letters for young students. It also is great for vocabulary, as well as diversity.
