    1. This book is about a time period in the civil war A little boy wants to be in the war but is two young. He goes to sign up and he lies about his age and is able to join Many of boys did this. The boy ended up being the buglar. He learns very well and is the best in the group of people he worked with. He sent his money home to his mother. The little boy gets awarded for being so good at the buglar. Near the end the little boy gets seriously sick.
