    1. I don't know why anyone would want any of these things but OMG they are adorable. Very well made, which is lovely to look at in a book but I know my results would be quite different. I'm just not as exacting a sewer as you have to be when you're making miniatures. Beautiful step by step pictures and templates sit right next to the project rather than in the back where they're all mixed together. This is the perfect craft book except I don't get it. These projects are so lovely but made with felt [...]

    2. Nevada: "It teaches a lot how to make all kinds of fun felt stuff. It is fun to do for activities."

    3. Darling projects with very clear instructions. This is definitely feeding my current felt-creation phase. So fun!

    4. Wonderful items to make; hours and hours of fun for children to play with. Includes easy to copy patterns and great directions. Highly recommend.

    5. I've been working with felt for years, but once my daughter was old enough to use her play kitchen and cook meals for her dolls, I sort of focused on making lots of felt food for her to play with. And while I'm usually not very good at following patterns, Big Little Felt Universe was one of the first books I bought for inspiration. And a wonderful source of inspiration it is. I haven't made all the projects in the book, not even close, but I've used a few and I can guarantee they are great. The [...]

    6. This book is such fun! With this book you can, indeed, create your own felt universe populated with all manner of funny felted treasures! As with all books from Lark the projects are extremely well illustrated and the written instructions are very clear. The book is broken down into sections. Cake, Camping, Plants, Holidays, Veggies, Office, Tools and more. All available to make your virtual felted world seem like the real thing. This book is unique, fanciful , creative and just plain fun. The [...]

    7. I thought lots of the projects in here were very cute, although some of them seem unnecessary. The idea of a felt cell phone and lipstick is cute, but in reality, a plastic toy cell phone or (even better) an old broken cell phone will get a lot more use from a little one. I don't want to spend lots of time sewing something that the kids won't play with. That said, I do really love the little felt fires and logs. I'm sewing them right now to give as Christmas gifts and I can see them being includ [...]

    8. Awesome, awesome, awesome. I would have loved to have this book when my kids were younger. For anyone out there that wants their kids to play with natural toys - things that have no plastic, no paint, no batteries and no sounds, this book is brilliant. The items are easy to sew and will give kids make-believe toys they will love. I am thrilled to have a young niece and nephew to sew for!

    9. These are soo cute, but a little out of my talent range. The felted banana split was my favorite, but all of the food was good. This would probably be full of good ideas for home-made gifts for a young one.

    10. Awesome collection! I'll definitely make a bunch of the gingerbread cookies, and have some plans for the plants. I could see these creations being very welcome in any playroom, especially for the pre-school and kindergarten set.

    11. This was a borderline "This lady has way to much free time" book. The patterns a well thought out and very easy to follow. The pictures are amazing and the creations are genius. Just one question do you really need a camping lantern made entirely out of felt?

    12. Great but who REALLY needs an entire felt office complete with felt laptop, mouse, stapler, scissors? –Or a complete felt doctor's bag with instruments? This woman has time on her hands. Still some great, complex designs here.

    13. This book is full of amazing-looking projects. I have not done any of the projects yet, but the instructions seem very clear and the projects, doable. Very excited to try several of them. Also, you need nothing more than a needle, thread, scissors, and felt for making most of them. Fun!

    14. We've made most of the doctor kit, the camp fire and plan on making the pocket knife, compass and some of the food. Great instructions, brilliant assembly.

    15. I love love LOVE this book. It seems to me to be the quintessential guide to felt work. It has tons of useful information and techniques, but is also equally as charming in it's patterns. A+

    16. I have made so many children happy with these creations. I have altered many of them to make other things and quite useful for an intuitive mind.

    17. More or less a picture book for me. I felt a lot of the projects were a little too Girl Scout troop for me, and don't really match my aesthetic tastes.

    18. Large variety of play things made of felt - from food to tools to doctor kit. Would return to book for food and camp fire. Creative use of velcro and magnets to make it possible to "cut" food.

    19. Pretty pictures, good patterns, fun ideas. I got this book from the library but now I kinda think I need to own it.

    20. Awesome step-by-step pictures. The projects they have are super cute, but I hope this book will help me develop the skills to make my own patterns for other things too.

    21. Great for teachers and projects for little kids using sheets of felt. Not great for those who want to use loose wool to create fantastic creations.
