    1. Fast paced story with lots of action. Cassi is running from the law for crimes of which she’s been accused but didn’t commit (at least not all of them). Her childhood friend Thomas is the FBI agent assigned to bring her in. Their friendship didn’t survive throughout the years and now they are reunited under less than perfect circumstances. Liked the book, didn't really care for the fact that everybody was clearly on Cassi's side during the book, and whenever Thomas had an argument with her it was his fault for not seeing the good/potential in her. I'm sorry but that goes both ways. I really do hate books when the hero is made out to be the one who has to constantly look out for the feelings of the heroine, and that definitely occurred during this book. Maybe that has to do with the situation that is taking place and the fact that [...]

    3. The Past Between Us was a quick, quick read. SuperR stories are becoming more and more like that these days, it seems. I enjoyed the suspense and the way the romance built naturally on Cassi and Thomas's shared past. Cassi was an excellent heroine: she had smarts, stamina and was seductive, too.I have to admit I was surprised when Thomas knocked Cassi out cold with a right hook (p. 31) when subduing her.
