    1. This was an excellent story of how courage can make a difference. It is amazing how the ingenuity of two sisters saved their town from the British soldiers. Both of my older children really enjoyed this story, and my 7 year old daughter wants to learn more about the Bates sisters. I really like how the girls saw a problem to be solved and did so.
